Lightning sparked several fires in a close area that is becoming known as the Tyee Ridge Complex. The latest information released on the fires in the early morning hours of Friday is that there were at least 3 fires burning up in the area for a total of around 30 acres or so. 

Much of Southern Oregon is buried in smoke this morning. In Roseburg, the AQI was about 113 just after 8am. However, in Grants Pass, the AQI was 328. 

DFPA is set to release more information on this fire and others sparked by the lighting that passed through Thursday night and into early Friday morning.
