Umpqua National Forest Supervisor’s Office Relocates to New Building in Roseburg
3:39 PM · Mar 18, 2024Roseburg, Oregon – Umpqua National Forest is pleased to announce the upcoming relocation of its Supervisor’s Office. Visitor services in the new location will begin on March 18, 2024, with most staff reporting to the new building on April 1, 2024. The move signifies an exciting development as the Umpqua National Forest Supervisor’s Office will now operate alongside federal government agencies Bureau of Land Management (BLM), U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The new building, which is located at 777 NW Garden Valley Blvd, Roseburg, OR 97471 will serve as a part of the newly named Roseburg Interagency Office. The strategic move underscores the collaborative commitment of these four agencies to providing easier accessibility to the public to deliver services. As part of the transition, there will be notable changes in public services that will begin on March 18, 2024: Public Convenience: To provide easier access to the public, a shared front desk with staff from both BLM and the Umpqua National Forest will be in the BLM front lobby. This collaborative front desk will aid visitors by creating a one-stop shop for both BLM and USFS trip-planning, permits, and passes. Expanded Hours: In response to the evolving needs of the community. The Roseburg Interagency Office will now operate five days a week, from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This extended schedule aims to improve accessibility and accommodate the diverse schedules of our stakeholders and community members.
