Incredible harvest moon over Roseburg tonight! Tomorrow night there will be a blood moon. 📸 by Abraham Finlay
We had an incredibly beautiful sunset tonight over looking melrose!
This evening I snapped a shot of a Red-tailed Hawk perched on our neighbor's roof. It was really spectacular to see it perfectly sitting on the corner...
This is my latest photo of the Orion Nebula that I captured last night! Orion is definitely one of the most spectacular constellations in the night sky. For this shot, I integrated about an hour and a half of exposure time to get a lot more detail in the image. Enjoy!
Last night I captured the Andromeda Galaxy from my front yard! As far as galaxies go Andromeda is by far the largest in our night sky. For this image,...
I'm really stoked with this shot! Finally, on the first really clear night in weeks, I was able to capture Milky Way as it rose in the south from here in Roseburg.
Here is an HDR shot of the moon tonight. In this photo, I took multiple exposures and combined them to see the dark and bright side of the moon. This is a tracked shot on my new mount, and I'm pretty happy with the results as this is my first attempt.
Early this morning at about 3:30 AM, I captured this shot of our Milky Way Galaxy. This photo was taken from our backyard facing Southeast. You can also see Jupiter and Saturn to the left. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out and I'm looking forward to taking another one under darker skies 🙂
I just took this photo of a Red-shouldered Hawk! The sky is finally clearing up here in Roseburg!
Beautiful sunset tonight at the Stewart Park duck pond!
