Bicyclist Collision CASE #: 203283 PERSON(S): (D1) Noland, Martha Ann (66) Roseburg, (BIC) Baker, Gary Daniel (59) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Noland: Failure to stop and remain stopped for pedestrian VEHICLE(S): Noland: OR 494LDR Black Chevrolet Malibu DETAIL(S): Noland was coming off of Fairhaven Street onto Harvard and did not see Baker riding a bike in the crosswalk in front of her. Noland struck Baker with the front bumper of her vehicle, knocking him and his bike to the ground. Baker landed on his left hip and complained of pain. Baker was transported to Mercy Medical Center via ambulance, and Noland's vehicle sustained very minor scratches. DISPO: Traffic Collision. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/28/2020 (12:52 PM) LOCATION: Jackson / Douglas, Roseburg INCIDENT: Non Injury Traffic Collision CASE #: 203285 PERSON(S): (D1) Patel, Ghanshyambhi Gordhanbhai (75) Roseburg, (D2) Terrell, Gretchen Elizabeth (52) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Patel: Improper Right Turn VEHICLE(S): Patel: OR 144HEF Silver 2014 Mercedes ML350, Terrell: OR SL89232 Black Jeep Cherokee DETAIL(S): Terrell was stopped facing south on SE Jackson at the intersection of SE Douglas (in the left lane). Patel was stopped facing west on SE Douglas at the intersection and made a right turn (north) onto SE Jackson. Patel swung his turn too wide and ran into the driver's side front of Terrell's vehicle with the driver's side front of his vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minimal damage and did not need tows. Neither party was injured. DISPO: Traffic Collision. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/28/2020 (04:00 PM) LOCATION: 346 Garden Valley, Roseburg INCIDENT: Theft II CASE #: 203290 PERSON(S): (S) Stallings II, Jesse Henderson (28) Winston(V) Jansen, Savannah Lee (30) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Theft II VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Stallings, an employee at the Garden Valley Chevron, had a wallet turned in to him. He allegedly kept it rather than try and return it to the owner, Jansen. Stallings was later contacted during an unrelated arrest by another agency, and cited for theft. DISPO: Cited and Released. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/28/2020 (05:30 PM) LOCATION: Stephens / Oak, Roseburg INCIDENT: Disorderly Conduct CASE #: 203293 PERSON(S): (S) Linderman, Larry (59) Roseburg, (V) Culberhouse, Loren (28) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Linderman – Disorderly Conduct II VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Linderman asked Culberhouse for money as Culberhouse was leaving work. When he told him no, Linderman became irate and began threatening to kill Culberhouse and his family. Linderman continued threatening him and getting in his face. Culberhouse was unable to get away from Linderman and he ended up having to punch him to get separated from him. DISPO: Cited and Released. He was additionally issued his second City Exclusion notice. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/28/2020 (08:45 PM) LOCATION: 1500 Block NE Stephens, Roseburg INCIDENT: Warrant Arrest CASE #: 202184 PERSON(S): (S) Cooper, Jeffrey James (32) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Warrant – Failure to Appear (Roseburg Municipal) VEHICLE(S): Blue 2019 Honda Civic 818LQD DETAIL(S): Cooper was contacted in the area and arrested on the listed warrant. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/28/2020 (09:00 PM) LOCATION: 1030 Harvard, Roseburg (Anderson Place Market) INCIDENT: Harassment CASE #: 203298 PERSON(S): (S) Birdsell, Steven (55) Roseburg, (V) Bedwell, Michael (27) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Birdsell – HarassmentCriminal Trespass IICriminal Mischief IIIDisorderly Conduct IITheft III VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Officers responded to the Anderson Place Market regarding a customer starting a physical disturbance with an employee. The employee, Bedwell, advised Birdsell pushed him and ripped his shirt inside the store. Officers contacted Birdsell near the store and he ran out into the roadway to try and get away from them. They were able to quickly detain him without further incident., Birdsell was allegedly upset over the store not cashing in his cans and he refused to leave. He ended up pushing the employee and began grabbing everything off of the shelves and throwing it on the ground. DISPO: Cited and Released. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/28/2020 (10:30 PM) LOCATION: Esperanza / Umpqua, Roseburg INCIDENT: Criminal Mischief CASE #: 203273 PERSON(S): (S) Wood, Joshua J (40) Roseburg, (V) Branagan, Eric C (48) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Wood – Criminal Mischief II VEHICLE(S): 2003 Toyota Camry (827LAM OR) DETAIL(S): On 07/27/20, Wood allegedly slashed the tires on Branagan's vehicle and left before police arrival. On 07/28/20, an officer was able to contact Wood in the listed area and he was issued a citation for the listed offense. DISPO: Cited and Released. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/28/2020 (11:16 PM) LOCATION: 1600 Block Main, Roseburg INCIDENT: Harassment CASE #: 203301 PERSON(S): (S) Yeazel, Jason Edward (43) Roseburg, (V) Walters, Deeanne Adella (54) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Yeazel – Harassment VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): An investigation concluded Yeazel grabbed Walters by the collar of her sweatshirt and shook her back and forth, then threw her on the ground. The incident started over a phone call which led in to a verbal disturbance which lasted for several hours and ended with Yeazel throwing Walters to the ground. Walters declined any medical attention. DISPO: Lodged at Corrections.
