Right now there are lots of baby Mallard's and Canada Geese in the Stewart Park ponds. Mallard's usually lay 7-10 greenish white eggs. They will incubate the eggs for around 26-30 days before the eggs hatch. Mallards will eat small seeds, aquatic insects, frozen peas, chopped up seedless grapes, and they will eat bread if you feed it to them but it's really bad for the ducks and geese and if the geese eat bread when there young it can cause them not to be able to fly when there older.
