While hiking Fall Creek Falls yesterday afternoon, we saw a small bat flying around. We think it might be a Long-Legged Myotis. There are several reasons why it might be out in the daytime, the bad weather, it might have had babies and they needed food, or it was getting water from the nearby creek water. Definitely a rare encounter!
