Two Shy Brewing is expanding into the former Defeat River Brewing building in Reedsport and is having a test pouring event Saturday, July 23 from 12-9 p.m. with charcuterie boards from Pizza to Go, and pizza available starting at 3 p.m.

The new building is almost ready to open at 473 Fir Ave. in Reedsport, but the owners are waiting on some final details from Oregon Liquor Control Commission. They are able to hold one-off events like the test pouring today.

"While we aren't completely there yet, the community is welcome to come see where we are in the process.... and we can practice pouring," said a post on the business Facebook page.

Two Shy became an official brewery and its doors in Roseburg in 2012. Defeat River Brewery closed in 2019.
