Jeff entered this world on Aug. 20, 1961, to loving parents David Sr. and Rosalie, as the youngest child of five. He grew up in Sutherlin Oregon on the homestead east of Sutherlin known as Nonpareil. His childhood was that of a little blonde-haired, blue-eyed country boy. Adventures were abundant for him. The Calapooia Creek, for crawdad hunting and swimming. Nickabob’s Moving to New Location on Harvard Ave, Expanding This Summer

Nickabobs, a long-standing butcher shop, is set to move from its old location on Diamond Lake Boulevard to the former Grocery Outlet location on Harvard Avenue. Roseburg School District will distribute free meals to children and youth over Spring Break via the LunchBox Express bus.  The meals are available to all children and youth 18 years old and younger and will be distributed March 27-31. Gary and Eva Chasteen are passing the torch that is Little Brothers Pub on Main Street in downtown Roseburg. The business has been selling lunch and dinner at the same spot under the same name for 46 years and will operate under a new owner starting on Monday.
