Brian Patrick Callaway "Cal-Balls" passed away at home August 7, 2022, at 8:10 p.m. at the age of 64 years and 6 days old. Brian was born in Long Beach, California on Aug. 1, 1958. He is survived by his mother Clara, his wife Katherine, siblings Larry, Paula, and Kevin, his daughters Ashley, Amanda, and Marlena, his son Jacob, 12 grandchildren and one great grandson Ryder Patrick, and his dog, Patty. He is preceded in death by his father Marvin George Callaway, brother Timothy and dogs Duchess, Benny, and Maggie. 

Brian was a "lifer" at Roseburg Forest Products where he also was a shop steward for 36 years. Brian was a little league coach in the Winston area. He was a Douglas High School graduate, class of '76. He loved the outdoors and spending time with family doing things. Family was number one to Brian - camping, BBQs, and wiffle ball. Brian was a trivia and music buff, always quizzing his kids on "name that tune". A celebration of life will be held on Aug. 20 at 1 p.m. at Brian's childhood home in Dillard.
