Remembering Donald Wayne Abercrombie

Donald Abercrombie, 66, beloved son and brother passed away suddenly January 31, 2023. After graduating Roseburg High School he worked at several different jobs in the area. His last job was working for Huffman & Wright. He liked this job best because the people were so great to work with and he could work outdoors. Don loved doing things outdoors. When he was younger he liked to hunt and fish. He was no longer hunting, but still enjoyed fishing. Don was an avid RC (radio cars) enthusiast and spent much of his leisure time playing with them. Don loved animals and always had a dog and several cats. His last dog, Foxy, was his constant companion. She loved to ride in his truck and he took her everywhere he went. Don liked to help other people and would do anything for anyone. He will be deeply missed. Don is survived by his parents: Herman Abercrombie and Pearl Teigland, his brothers: Bruce Abercrombie and James Abercrombie, his sisters: Debbie Smith, Nancy Calvillo, Barbara Knebel and Brenda Abercrombie. Don had requested that there not be funeral service and we will respect that wish.
