I had a nice encounter with this Ash-throated Flycatcher recently! The Ash-throated Flycatcher is a medium-sized bird found in the southwestern United States and Mexico. It is named after its distinctive ash-gray throat and breast. These birds are known for their aerial acrobatics as they catch insects and often perch on prominent branches to survey their surroundings.
