A really rare Hooded Oriole was spotted in Newport Oregon a couple of weeks ago and has been hanging out in the area ever since. These birds generally spend the winter in southern California, Texas, and Mexico. So seeing one in Oregon is a very rare sight! My family and I happened to be visiting the coast over the past few days and were able to go and see it!
