Nickabob’s Moving to New Location on Harvard Ave, Expanding This Summer

Nickabobs, a long-standing butcher shop, is set to move from its old location on Diamond Lake Boulevard to the former Grocery Outlet location on Harvard Avenue. While the move has been confirmed, the opening date has not been set as construction is just beginning. Owner Tim McClendon, hopes to open the new store this summer. Nickabobs has been a trusted source of high-quality meat for many years, offering a wide selection of beef, pork, chicken, and other meats. The move to the former Grocery Outlet location will give the business more space to expand and offer a wider variety of products to its customers. "We purchased the property as of the ninth,” McClendon said. “I would like to be in early summer sometime, but we’ll see. I think once the ball starts rolling it’s going to go pretty fast. We’re going to put a new storefront on it. It’s going to be great for Roseburg! We’re going to offer more milk, eggs, cheeses and things like that. Great things are coming!” While the opening date of the new Nickabobs location on Harvard Avenue is not yet set, customers can look forward to an expanded product line and the same high-quality meats that the business has been known for. With the move to a larger space, Nickabobs will continue to provide the community with excellent customer service and fresh, locally-sourced meat for many years to come. McClendon has owned Nickabobs for about eight years.
