Abraham successfully captured another injured Mallard today at the duck pond. We saw it limping around the other day and weren't able to get it but by today it wasn't walking around at all. We distracted it with some food and Abraham grabbed it. It has some sort of injury on both feet. Poor thing devoured a full cup of bird seed very quickly after being put in the carrier. We already dropped the duck off with a Umpqua Wildlife Rehabber. As always we will keep you posted on its progress! 🤙🦆
