Cockrehm drove through the intersection and struck Gibson's vehicle, which was traveling west on Washington, causing the truck to spin on to the south shoulder of the roadway.Due to the collision, Cockrehm’s vehicle sustained heavy front end damage and was towed by Roseburg Towing. Gibson's vehicle sustained heavy rear passenger side damage as well as the drive train. His vehicle was also towed by Roseburg Towing.A passenger in Gibson’s vehicle, who was in the front passenger seat of the vehicle, was transported to Mercy Medical center via ambulance for complaints of severe chest pain.
