An Encouragement to Seek Out Medical Care

A thank you and an encouragement. A few days ago our 9 year old daughter was pretty sick, throwing up, fever and then lower abdominal pain. We called our pediatricians office who recommended we take her to the ER to get checked out for an appendicitis. So Thursday morning we took her over to Mercy and she ended up getting a CT scan which confirmed the appendicitis and she had a successful surgery early Friday evening. I want to thank Dr. Jackie's office for the helpful advice, and Dr. Spence at Mercy Medical Center for the timely and successful surgery he performed, and all the nurses, medical and support staff at Mercy for taking such good care of us! I also want to encourage everyone that might be needing medical care, don't avoid your doctor or your medical provider. Give them a call and get advice about what you should do!
