All had tents and/or bedding material laid out. All but Nelson were cited for Offensive Littering as well for having garbage/trash/debris scattered by their tents/bedding material. All have been warned and cited on previous contacts for camping in this area. DISPO: Citation Issued PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 05/26/2020 (03:12 PM) LOCATION: 800 NW Highland St, Roseburg INCIDENT: DWS-Misdemeanor CASE #: 202239 PERSON(S): (S) Wood, Joshua James, 40, Roseburg CHARGE(S): DWS-M, Attempt to Elude in Vehicle, Attempt to Elude on Foot, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. VEHICLE(S): Silver 2005 Chevy Uplander Van DETAIL(S): Officer saw Joshua Wood driving on the Interstate 5 northbound off-ramp at Garden Valley Blvd. The officer knew Joshua was DWS-M and activated their overhead lights to get through the intersection to conduct a traffic stop. Immediately after the officer activated the overhead lights, Joshua quickly turned right onto NW Ellan Street and then cut through two parking lots. The Officer caught up to his vehicle at Gaddis Park, and saw him running away from. The Officer ordered Joshua to stop and held him at taser point until he was detained without further incident. During the incident Josh was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine. DISPO: Cited and Released. When asked about it, Harry said he went to the bushes alongside the drive thru of the bank and urinated. DISPO: Citation Issued PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 05/26/2020 (05:40 PM) LOCATION: 2122 Stewart Parkway (Sportsman’s Warehouse), Roseburg INCIDENT: Theft III CASE #: 202243 PERSON(S): (S) Campos, Steven Thomas (37) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Theft III-Shoplifting VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Officers responded to the location near Sportsman's Warehouse for a male who stole a couple of items from the business and fled north. The suspect, Steven Campos was located in a nearby business with the stolen property, which was recovered. DISPO: Cited and Released PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 05/26/2020 (06:15 PM) LOCATION: 610 NE Polk, Roseburg INCIDENT: Assault CASE #: 202244 PERSON(S): Caldwell, Anthony (35) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Assault in the Fourth Degree VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Officer contacted the victim at Evergreen after a disturbance with her boyfriend (Anthony) in front of her minor children. Anthony reportedly grabbed onto both of her arms and shoved her backwards. The victim was experiencing pain from being pushed and had difficulty moving her shoulder and elbow. VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Officer contacted Ward and Anderson during a verbal disturbance at the listed location. They were found to have to abovementioned warrants. Ward was transported to DCC and Anderson was issued a citation with a new court date. Disorderly Conduct II, 2. Criminal Trespass II VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Scott was called in as being disorderly at Micelli Park and acting in an alarming manner. Officers found Scott topless and uncooperative. Scott eventually wandered to the Holiday Inn where she trespassed in the lobby. Scott had to be physically restrained from walking into traffic on Harvard after she left the hotel. DISPO: Lodged at Corrections.
