The Roseburg Docs baseball team kicked off their independent season Friday with two wins over Eugene teams in a Father’s Day tournament hosted at Champion Car Wash field.  

The Docs (2-0) beat the Eugene Challengers 5-0 in the opening game of the tournament that started at 12 p.m. 

The Docs went on down the Eugene Athletics 8-5 in the game that followed at 3 p.m. 

Other teams from the region will be playing games on Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. 

The Docs will play Klamath Falls Saturday at 6 p.m. and will wrap up the tournament on Sunday against North Medford at 6 p.m. all at Champion Car Wash field in Roseburg. 

The capacity for games are 250 people with social distancing in place. Also masks are suggested but not required to attend. 

Roseburg Docs Open Season Friday With Two Wins
