Craft allegedly punched Burdette several times knocking out a tooth and bloodying her nose. Craft also menaced Burdette with a wooden club and strangled her when she was down on the ground. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/14/2020 (02:00 PM) LOCATION: 1500 Block Keasey, Roseburg INCIDENT: Violation of a No Contact Order CASE #: 203047, 202998 PERSON(S): (S) Payton, Steven Payton (28) Roseburg, (V) Rubino, Lisa Jo (46) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Violation of No Contact Order VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Payton went to his mother's house, which violates a no contact order against him. Rubino called police and when Payton found out, he held a knife to his neck and threatened to kill himself. Police negotiated with Payton for two hours, as Payton held the knife to his neck the entire time. Payton eventually put the knife down and surrendered peacefully. DISPO: Lodged. He initially complied with orders to stop, but when told he was under arrest, he refused to put his hands behind his back. DISPO: Cited and Released.
