Tuesday Fire Update: There are currently two fires burning in Douglas County.

Days Creek Fire - This morning is was reported to be at 35 acres and has 110 personnel and two helicopters fighting it. Good progress has been made on this fire over the past day or so. 

MP 92 fire - ***Update***
The forward spread of the MP 92 fire has been stopped and crews are mopping up hot spots and securing control lines.

As of a few hours ago it was reported to be at about 4 acres. It appears that it started next to I-5 possibly by sparks that came from the freeway. 

More updates will come later this evening.
