He left the roadway and struck a telephone pole, causing his car to rollover multiple times. The car finally came to rest on the train tracks between Stephens and Hooker Road. Mathiesen displayed signs of a medical problem and was transported to mercy for treatment. His car was towed from the scene by Roseburg Towing. No one else was involved in the collision. The vehicle was stopped and Ward quickly got out and began walking away. Butler responded and confirmed she did not know Ward or ever give him permission to drive the vehicle. Springstead and Gater allegedly argued briefly before Springstead used his Jeep to push Gater's carts away from the vacuum. Gater was trapped between the two carts and her arm was pinched, causing her arm to swell. DISPO: Cited and Released. Williams was traveling east on Harvard through the intersection near Roseburg High School. Both drivers were adamant that their light was green and they were traveling at the speed limit. No independent witnesses stopped to give statements of what actually happened. Williams was transported to the hospital via ambulance for complaint of neck and back pain. Bower was in the right lane and did not think he could stop in time so he switched lanes, hitting Gardiner's vehicle. The impact broke Bower's front axle and sent Gardiner's vehicle into a light pole which landed behind her vehicle. Gardiner came to a stop in a fenced yard at 957 Pine Street which destroyed the front fence. Bower’s vehicle was towed by Kokua Towing and Gardiner’s vehicle was towed by Roseburg Towing.
