Laroque was already northbound in the right turn lane on Stewart Parkway in a blue 2013 Honda CR-V when Smith came over into the side of her vehicle as Smith made her lane change. The clerk chased after Harper as he ran out of the store. This was Harper's third theft of beer that day and the clerk was unable to continue pursuing him. Harper was later contacted near Applebee’s and was charged with theft. DISPO: Cited and Released. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 08/20/2020 (05:00 PM) LOCATION: 2700 Stewart Parkway, Roseburg (Mercy) INCIDENT: Injury Traffic Collision CASE #: 203640 PERSON(S): (S) Pruitt, Lenny (55) Roseburg CHARGE(S): VEHICLE(S): 2006 White Chevy Trailblazer (OR 307GKH) DETAIL(S): Pruitt was witnessed driving over two curbs and speeding through the Mercy Medical Center parking lot. He reached a corner and drove his car up an embankment and into a tree. Pruitt was treated at Mercy. The case is still being investigated as to the reason for the accident. Pruitt's vehicle was towed from the scene by Roseburg Towing. DISPO: Single Vehicle Collision. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 08/20/2020 (07:00 PM) LOCATION: 2530 NE Stephens, Roseburg (Arco Gas) INCIDENT: DUII Alcohol CASE #: 203642 PERSON(S): (S) Cope, Rod (62) Roseburg CHARGE(S): DUII Alcohol VEHICLE(S): 1995 Green Toyota Tercel OR-UKJ804 DETAIL(S): A citizen reported Cope as a driving impaired. An officer located Cope in the parking lot of Arco Gas. Cope was contacted and displayed signs of impairment, and he was ultimately arrested for DUII Alcohol. DISPO: Cited and Released.
