Crews will remain on scene of the Burnt Mountain Fire for the remainder of the day, mopping up hot spots and securing control lines. A preliminary fire investigation indicated that the cause of the Burnt Mountain Fire may be vehicle-related. In addition to the DFPA resources that responded to the incident, equipment and personnel from the following agencies also responded to the Burnt Mountain Fire: Tenmile Rural Fire Department, Lookingglass Rural Fire Department, Winston – Dillard Fire Department, and the Coos Forest Protective Association.
