She locked her doors but left her car running and her driver side window cracked because her dog was inside. She came out approximately 5 minutes later and her car was gone.An Oregon State Police Trooper found the car driving south on Carnes Road. Carter was driving and Rosario was a passenger. Through the investigation, it was determined that Rosario drove the car first and Carter switched seats with him before driving towards the Green area. Mongkeya was given a courtesy ride to the scene and she retrieved her car. Her dog was also unharmed. DISPO: Lodged at Corrections. To avoid an accident Williams hit her brakes and Burbank rear ended her., Both vehicles were removed from the roadway and information was exchanged. Williams drove her vehicle home and Burbank had his vehicle towed by Walt's Towing from the scene. There were no reported injuries. DISPO: Traffic Collision. The pole shifted causing lines to cross and power to go out all throughout the area (including traffic lights on Harvard from Umpqua to Madrone). Pacific Power arrived on scene and advised the pole suffered approximately $2,000 dollars in damage. Insurance information was given to Pacific Power and after approximately 2 hours all power was restored to the affected areas. DISPO: Traffic Collision. CHARGE(S): Fitzgerald – Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver VEHICLE(S): Fitzgerald - blue Honda Odyssey (173JTM), Bond - grey Volkswagen Bua (909G43 NV) DETAIL(S): Fitzgerald allegedly backed into another vehicle in the parking lot of the Howard Johnson. She then parked her vehicle and walked away. We were not able to initially contact her but she later turned herself in. DISPO: Cited and Released. DETAIL(S): Garren was called in by multiple witnesses as a DUII driver after hitting a pole in the Fred Meyer parking lot. He left the parking lot driving eastbound on Garden Valley. When officers attempted to stop his vehicle, he entered I5 northbound on-ramp traveling the wrong direction southbound, so officers did not continue. He then drove over a flower bed median onto I5 northbound and was later stopped near exit 129 by Oregon State Troopers and Douglas County Sheriff’s Department Deputies. He was arrested for DUII alcohol, Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver, and Reckless Driving. The Oregon State Police handled the DUII and Reckless Driving portion of the incident.
