Smoke is Back in the Area Again Today

Sunday smoke situation: We are going to deal with a little more smoke for the next day or so. Much of this smoke is coming from the fires up north and is being blown south. A new weather front arrives Monday night which should offer relief again. More rain expected this coming week from Wednesday to Friday with the highest chance on Wednesday night. According to the NWS, "The smoke situation today should remain similar overall to yesterday, although with at least a modest trend of increased smoke aloft. West of the Cascades, winds today will transport smoke north to south in the lower atmosphere, while east of the Cascades smoke will be transported south to north."
