All Archie Creek, Thielsen Fire Evacuation Levels Have Been Lifted
5:16 PM · Oct 8, 2020(DCSO) DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. - The Douglas County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with fire managers, is announcing additional evacuation level reductions. Effective at 8:00 am on Thursday, October 8, 2020, the following changes have taken effect: Archie Creek Fire * The LEVEL 1 "BE READY" notice on all areas of the fire have been lifted. At this time there are no longer any areas under a formal evacuation notice. Thielsen Fire * The LEVEL 1 “ BE READY notice at Diamond Lake, including the Diamond Lake Resort, all recreation areas, all residential and summer homes has been lifted. At this time there are no longer any areas under a formal evacuation notice. As of this notice, there are no longer any evacuation levels in place in Douglas County.
