Mercy Hospice to Host Virtual Celebration of Life on Nov. 19
As the holidays approach during this exceptional season, Mercy Hospice is hosting a virtual celebration of life for families to remember their loved ones that they’ve lost. The virtual event will be November 19, 2020 @ 6 p.m. PST. The idea behind it is that many families haven’t been able to gather for funerals or memorials due to Covid restrictions. “Others may have had a memorial, but might still want to set some time aside before entering the Holiday season and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have died,” Mercy Hospice Bereavement Coordinator Stan Welch said. “Because of this, we will be providing a Virtual Celebration of Life as we encourage family members to take a few minutes, gather around and give appreciation for those friend and family members who have died.” The event should be less than 20 minutes in length and will include a story, reflection and a song. The video will be posted at: https://youtu.be/OFKZwjqOUi8 Mercy Hospice welcomes people to invite their family and friends —across town, across state lines, or even around the world— to pause and commemorate loved ones in this Virtual Life Celebration.
