Contreras was traveling south on Airport. Both claimed they had a green light to enter the intersection. Contreras' vehicle struck the driver's side of McHargue's vehicle.Both vehicles appeared to be totaled and were towed by Roseburg Towing. Contreras was transported to Mercy Medical Center by ambulance with a possible broken thumb, and McHargue claimed to be uninjured. There were no independent witnesses to provide a statement. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 02/04/2021 (07:05 PM) LOCATION: 800 Block Ventura, Roseburg INCIDENT: Hit and Run CASE #: 210531 PERSON(S): (S) Bratton, Lance Wayne (32) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver – Property Damage, Warrant – Traffic Offenses (Canyonville Justice Court) VEHICLE(S): 370DFR-2004 silver Chevrolet Monte Carlo DETAIL(S): Bratton was observed driving and then crashing off the roadway, causing minor property damage. Officers contacted him as he was leaving the area, making no attempt to contact anyone about the damage he caused. He also had a warrant for his arrest and his license was violation suspended.
