Snow Expected to Fall at Lower Elevations Sunday Night Into Monday Morning
(NWS Medford) A strong cold front will move through the region Sunday night into Monday. This front will bring some heavy snowfall to higher elevations and the Shasta valley Sunday night. Once the front moves through, cold temperatures will push snow levels down to the valley floors. Snow accumulation should be minimal over the west side valleys behind the cold front. With the sun hitting the roads by Monday, any snow that does stick should quickly melt by the morning hours.
