Two Structural Task Forces Being Mobilized To Douglas County

With weather and fire predictive modeling suggesting the potential for significant growth for the multiple fires, we are prepositioning firefighting resources in Douglas County starting tomorrow (8/4) through Saturday (8/7). The two structural task forces mobilized to Douglas County are from Lincoln and Yamhill Counties and will be stationed in Roseburg. This is a proactive move for the region to be better prepared and to bolster local capacity. These firefighters are not being assigned to a specific incident at this time but will be an added resource and will increase the state’s readiness. Via Oregon State Fire Marshal
