75 National Guard Members to Be Welcomed to CHI Mercy Hospital Monday Morning

Our community will have the opportunity on Monday morning to welcome and show our support for 75 National Guard members arriving in Roseburg to help assist healthcare workers at CHI Mercy Hospital. Our hospital and its staff have been under great strain as COVID-19 admissions have surged in the past several weeks. On top of this, a large number of healthcare workers are out sick as well, adding to the difficult situation. The help from the National Guard is very timely and much appreciated. If you would like to come out and show your support and appreciation, National Guard members will be meeting at the old K-Mart parking lot on Monday, August 23rd at 7:00 am before going to the hospital. Let’s welcome them to our wonderful community and show support for them and our local healthcare workers!
