Temperatures to Warm Up Again This Weekend, Smoke to Linger

Temperatures around Douglas County will slowly get warmer through early next week, even reaching the mid 90's by Labor Day on Monday. Then cool temperatures are likely to follow. Smoke from area wildfires will likely worsen starting Thursday and into through the weekend, with the worst areas in southern Douglas County. Next week we could actually see some rain and there is also a slight chance of thunderstorms.
