Mink Captures Invasive Red-Eared Slider Turtle at Stewart Park Ponds
This morning we were over at the Wildlife Ponds in Stewart Park when we saw a mink out on the island in the pond. So I went out to check out what it was up to and found it attacking an invasive red-eared slider turtle. These invasive turtles are harmful for the native western pond turtles, so this mink was being very helpful.
