Roseburg Public Schools will Deliver Meals During Winter Break

Roseburg Public Schools will distribute free meals to children over the Winter Break via the LunchBox Express bus. The LunchBox Express has been taking meals to children in the district since 2015 as a way to fill in the gap for students who get most of their meals at school.  The meals are available to all children 18 years old and younger, regardless of what school they attend. The LunchBox Express will be at each of the locations with grab-n-go meals with breakfast and lunch inside. The meals will be distributed Monday through Thursday, Dec. 20-23, and Monday through Wednesday, Dec. 27-29.  The delivery sites and times are: * Saddle Butte Mobile Manor (222 Saddle Butte Lane): 11-11:15 a.m. * Eastwood Park (2823 SE Douglas Avenue): 11:35-11:55 a.m. * Stewart Park (1700 W Stewart Park Drive): 12:10-12:30 p.m. * Green Elementary (4498 Carnes Road): 12:45-1 p.m. For more information, call 541-440-2023.
