Roseburg Boys Soccer Team Comes Back to Tie North Medford

The Roseburg boys soccer team refused to quit tonight against North Medford. Down by one at halftime, Roseburg kept fighting and about halfway through the second half Elijah Finlay crossed a corner kick that Moses Finlay was able to head into the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1. Roseburg coach Ronnie Bustamante was excited to have two more players back from injuries. “Getting some of our injured players back was huge. Tristan Vilanueva at keeper and the whole back line played well.” Bustamante said. “The players were able to keep their composure and were playing with much more patience today. Overall I’m proud of the guys for their resilience and composure. They have a united drive to keep improving as a team and as the program.”
