A wind advisory has been issued for Central and Eastern Douglas County, including Roseburg, Glide, and Canyonville, as well as the surrounding foothills and passes, and for Eastern Curry County and Josephine County, primarily the higher foothills above 2500 feet. This advisory is in effect from 7 PM this evening to 4 AM PST Sunday.

During this time, southeast winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 to 55 mph are expected. These winds may make travel difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, and may cause weak trees and tree branches to fall.
