Wildlife Rehabilitation Class Coming to Roseburg
Forever Wild Wildlife Rescue will be hosting it's 2023 wildlife rehabilitation class for those interested in getting involved with wildlife rescue. Forever Wild Wildlife Rescue is a local 501C3 non-profit group of volunteers and experienced wildlife rehabbers rescuing local injured and orphaned wildlife. When: Sat. & Sun. March 4th and 5th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 Where: At The VFW Hall Post 2468 1127 NE Walnut St. in Roseburg Pre-registration is required and closes February 28, or when the class is full. Participants must be 18 years old or older. Class info: There is no fee for this class, but class space is limited. This class will cover: • Safe capture and handling • Raising wild babies • Treating injuries/ shock, identifying disease and illness • Laws/regulations • Disease prevention • Various ways to be involved in helping injured and orphaned wildlife.
