Snow Day Follow-up Message From Roseburg School District

12:38 AM · Feb 15, 2023

Here is a message sent out to families of students this afternoon from Superintendent Cordon: Dear Roseburg families, I hope you were able to stay safe and warm amid today’s winter weather. Thank you for your understanding as we decided to close school today to ensure the safety of our students, staff and community. Our Operations staff will be keeping an eye on the forecast overnight and into Wednesday morning. We will continue to notify you of potential delays or closures. The best way to check for updates is to visit our website, Because our district builds ample instructional hours into our calendar each year, the School Board has decided not to schedule a snow makeup day at this time. The Board realizes that families have likely made plans for the upcoming Presidents Day holiday on Monday as well as for the end of the school year, and wish to be respectful of everyone’s schedules. Thank you again, Sincerely Jared Cordon Superintendent Roseburg School District Photo by Mark Tsuchiya
