1-2 Inches of Snow Expected in Roseburg By Wednesday Morning

11:07 PM · Feb 19, 2023

A cold front will move through Monday night and Tuesday followed a showery and cold air mass Tuesday night and Wednesday. This will bring the potential for low elevation snow as well as heavy snow across the mountains from the Cascades west. As the front moves through, snow levels will quickly lower from 4000-5000 ft Monday night to 1500-2000 ft late Tuesday morning and afternoon. Snow impacts are possible down to lower passes on Tuesday. Snow showers will continue Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning with snow levels falling down to lower valley floors (500 ft). Light to moderate accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected for valleys west of the Cascades. Moderate snow of around 3 to 6 inches is expected above 1500 feet with heavier amounts over the mountains and in the eastern Douglas County foothills. Moderate snow of 3 to 6 inches is also possible in northern Klamath County. Elsewhere, expect lighter snow. If you have travel plans Monday night through Wednesday morning, be prepared for wintry conditions. Remember to check road conditions before venturing out! Via NWS
