First Annual Hope Springs Eternal Family Event Coming to Roseburg
6:08 PM · Mar 21, 2023Hope Springs Eternal! A family-friendly event is coming to Roseburg on Saturday, May 6th, 2023, from 11 am to 4 pm. This FREE event promises a day of fun, food, and festivities for the whole family to enjoy. The event will feature a wide range of activities, including face painting, balloon art, a hula performance by Roseburg's own Halau Hula Aulani, a dunk tank, selfie booth, and an obstacle course. In addition, two local food trucks, Wailani Shave Ice and Relished Dog, will be on site, offering delicious treats for purchase. Attendees can also buy raffle tickets for a chance to win some amazing prizes. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Family Development Center, a non-profit organization in Douglas County that focuses on nurturing successful and resilient children, strengthening parents, and preserving families to prevent child abuse and neglect. Hope Springs Eternal is brought to you by the Jerry Bruce Community Campus, home to Family Development Center, FISH Food Pantry, UHI, Inc., UCAN, and Aviva Health. The event will take place at the Aviva Health parking lot at 150 Kenneth Ford Drive in Roseburg, rain or shine.
