Sip & Shop: The New Chapter of Melrose Farmers Market Begins June 16th

Melrose Farmers Market, a hub for local vendors and shoppers, is ready to open its doors at a brand-new location this Friday. Moving from its original spot at the old Melrose Grange, the market has now found a home at the Oran Mor Artisan Mead Winery, located at 305 Melrose Rd. The grand opening is scheduled for this Friday, June 16th, from 4 to 7 pm. With the move, the market not only gains more space for its vendors and ample parking for visitors but also offers a picturesque vineyard setting for a unique shopping experience. The market will be open every Friday through October. The event will showcase a rich array of vendors, including Brandywine Fisheries, Sweet Bits Bakery, Cruz Vieja Foods, Green Hill Creations, Marilyn Lindsey Handmade Cards, Perkins Family Farms, Valadez Organic Produce, Umpqua Naturals, Idyl-Oak Ranch, Native Rose Designs, Hale-Ski Farm, Bre's Traveling Tie Dye, Jam 4 Jam, Baylie Jewelry, Bohemian Rocks, Karen Sweet Creations, Knotty Knittress, Fin Wonderland, Alluvium Rise, and Carnivorous Plants, and more. A special feature of the grand opening is the 'Sip & Shop' concept. Market-goers can sample artisan mead from the winery while browsing the diverse selection of offerings from local vendors. Adding to the festive ambiance will be a variety of food trucks, including Bobalastic, Relish Dog, and Smokin Coast 2 Kourtney, and live music performed by the Silver Creek Band.
