Pacific Power Conducts Helicopter Inspections Over Roseburg

The low flying helicopter will be seen over Roseburg the next few days as it is inspecting power poles for Pacific Power. Update from Sam Carter of Pacific Power: "Pacific Power is using a helicopter to visually inspect power lines. The helicopter will fly at low elevations and slow speeds during daylight hours. These inspections are necessary to ensure the continued safe and reliable operation of equipment. Planned flights for Tuesday are the Winchester, Oakland and Glide areas. This will be it for now unless plans change."
