2019 Douglas County Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

7:17 PM · Nov 21, 2019

The Douglas County Board of Commissioners invite you to attend the 2019 Douglas County Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 30, when we will flip the switch and light up the tall fir tree for the first time. The lights on the tree will illuminate on a varied schedule throughout the holiday season. The tree is set to be dismantled on Thursday, January 2, 2020. 2019 Douglas County Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, hosted by Douglas County and the Downtown Roseburg Association (DRA) will begin at 5:00 pm, on November 30. The event is free and is open to the public. There will be fun festivities before and after the bright lights are turned on, and perhaps even a visit from the Jolly Old Elf himself, Santa Claus. There will also be a live nativity scene at the First Christian Church across the street from the Douglas County Courthouse beginning at 4:30, with lots of delicious goodies made by members of the church. For more information about the festivities, contact the DRA at (541) 673-3352 or by email downtownroseburg@gmail.com or Douglas County at dcinfo@co.douglas.or.us Via Douglas County Government Release
