2nd Annual Roseburg Blocktober Fest Returns to Downtown Roseburg on Saturday, October 7

Roseburg, Oregon – October 3, 2023 – Head downtown this Saturday and be part of the 2nd Annual Blocktober Fest presented by NeighborWorks Umpqua, this year featuring the Umpqua Brew Fest and Hesh Moto Show. From 11 am to 6 pm, the streets come alive with a splash of arts, vendors, food, local beer and wine, family activities, downtown businesses, and five entertainment stages. It’s a festival of community, creativity, and connection. We’re also celebrating Roseburg 151st birthday! Brought to you by NeighborWorks Umpqua, this one-day event is the embodiment of Roseburg's community spirit, bringing something for everyone. You’ll find a family activity zone and entertainment stage, live music on multiple stages, a wide variety of vendors and community partners, local downtown businesses, delicious food, local and regional beer and wine, custom motorcycles on display, art displays including a live Experience Roseburg mural painting by artist Oliver Casillas, and more! Set against the backdrop of downtown Roseburg, this free-to-attend event promises an unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages. What's New This Year? The festivities have expanded! Alongside Blocktober Fest, the Umpqua Brew Fest and the Hesh Moto Show are amplifying the buzz downtown. SE Main St., SE Jackson St., and one intersection at SE Kane and Oak will be pedestrian-friendly, closed from the South side of Douglas to the North side of Lane, creating a vibrant stretch for vendors, activities, entertainment, and more. This year features a RediscoverDowntown BINGO, inviting attendees to collect stamps from our Roseburg downtown businesses for a chance to win prizes. Adding to the fun, many downtown businesses will be rolling out specials and pop-ups for the day. Five Stages of Entertainment! Music and entertainment will echo through downtown with five distinctive stages: 1. Main Blocktober Fest Music Stage 2. Blocktober Fest Family Stage 3. Hesh Moto Show Stage 4. With the addition of the Umpqua Brew Fest, attendees can purchase the Blocktober Fest Mug and Tokens for samples or full pours of local brews and wines from over 40 taps and eight wineries.
