56th Annual Summer Arts Festival Returns to Fir Grove Park, June 27–29

ROSEBURG, Ore. — The Umpqua Valley Arts Summer Arts Festival will return to Fir Grove Park from June 27 through 29 for its 56th year. Hosted by Umpqua Valley Arts, the festival remains Southern Oregon’s largest public celebration of local art, live music, and regional culture. The three-day event will feature more than 110 artists from across the region. Visitors will find original works in fine art, ceramics, jewelry, textiles, wood, metal, and more. Artist booths will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Food vendors and the main stage will stay open until 9:00 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. Admission is free. The festival regularly attracts more than 10,000 attendees and serves as a major fundraiser for Umpqua Valley Arts, a nonprofit focused on year-round art education and community programs. “This festival is a true celebration of the abundance of talent we have in the Land of Umpqua and beyond,” said Monica Stanfield, executive director of UVA. “It’s a one-of-a-kind event that brings our community together while supporting arts and culture that help shape our creative identity.” In addition to artist booths, the event will include two stages of live entertainment featuring local and regional musicians and performers. A Youth Zone will offer hands-on activities for children and families. Food vendors from across the Pacific Northwest will serve a range of meals, snacks, and craft beverages. Artist demonstrations and community engagement activities will be spread throughout the park. The event is organized by UVA staff, board members, volunteers, and a local planning committee, with support from community partners and sponsors. Proceeds help fund UVA’s year-round programming and outreach efforts.
