At approximately 5:15am this morning a large pile of railroad ties were set on fire about 100 feet east of a large illegal encampment. When firefighters and railroad employees got on scene they saw a large group of individuals running away. 

The fire was extinguished and flared back up at least one more time today. 

This area has been an extremely problematic area for the railroad with consistent property damage to railroad signals as well as other railroad property. 

I have heard reports of a male being detained this morning. Will update more as soon as more info is available.
