The Riddle volleyball team dedicated their game against Umpqua Valley Christian Tuesday night to honor the nine lives lost at Umpqua Community College on October 1, 2015. Riddle held a special presentation and a moment of silence. The Irish (6-7, 5-3) won in four sets. Set scores were 25-22, 10- 25, 25-23, 25-21. Riddle was led by Sammy Linton who had three aces, two kills and four assists. Rylee Pruitt added eight aces and two kills while Emilee Ball had three aces and two kills for the Irish. Katie Langdon had nine aces and three kills. Madison Hold had five aces, two kills and six assists while Maisie Davenport added two kills. UVC (4-8, 2-7) was led by Layla Papas who had 21 assists and six kills. Tylie Bendele had 14 kills while Gianna Landes added 15 digs for the Monarchs. Riddle hosts Camas Valley on Thursday while UVC hosts Elkton on Thursday.
