Crater Lake Digging Out After Getting 6-7 Feet of Snow
Here's the latest report from Crater Lake National Park. "The park is digging out from the recent storms that brought 6-7 feet of much needed fresh snow. While there is still snow in the forecast, the amounts are much smaller for the next week. ODOT was able to clear the downed trees on Hwy 62 West, so the park is again accessible from both the west and the south. The road to Rim Village remains closed while our hard-working road crew clears the deep snow. If you choose to visit the park, please use caution when driving as the roads are snow-packed and icy, which is typical for this time of year." Highway 138 was reopened today as well.
