Bald Eagle Carrying Remains of a Fawn To Its Nest

The other day I shared some photos of a little fawn sitting on our neighbors porch curled up in a ball. It's mamma had left it in the yard to keep it safe from predators. This photo shows exactly why she did it. I captured this shot today of a Bald Eagle returning to it's nest carrying part of a little fawn! It's not the same one, completely different locations. We aren't sure if an animal got it first or the eagle did, but pretty amazing to see it carry it's remains back to its nest where two juvenile bald eagles were waiting.
