Hawkins was driving south down the hill on Stephens when the lights at the intersection turned red. She tried to stop but her brakes went out. She tried to swerve to avoid other vehicles but hit the rear end of Hinton’s vehicle. Hinton was stopped at the light waiting to proceed south on Stephens when he was rear ended by Hawkins., There were no reported injuries, and both vehicles were driven from the scene. Higdon became upset when he was denied service and shoved Averett and Wiener away from the self-checkout stand. During the altercation Higdon allegedly broke off the pen stylus for the credit/debit card reader. DISPO: Cited and Released. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 11/02/2020 (10:45 PM) LOCATION: 1036 Douglas, Roseburg INCIDENT: Forgery CASE #: 203234 PERSON(S): (S) Girard, Joshua Swayde (28) Riddle CHARGE(S): Forgery I, Theft I, Computer Crime VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): On 7/28/20, two people deposited and cashed altered checks totaling over $1,000 into an ATM using Girard's bank account. Some of the money was received through the ATM and Girard later allegedly went inside the branch and received $1,000 cash from a bank teller., Girard was already lodged at Corrections on an unrelated issue and was charged with the listed offenses.
